On Wednesday, May 1st a Make and Take Tie-Dye event was held at the Mifflin County High School where over 500 t-shirts were tie-dyed by students, teachers, local agencies and community members. The most recent Pennsylvania Youth Survey showed our youth ranked higher than state average regarding social and emotional health.
Due to these statistics, we ask you to join us in spreading Mental Health Awareness by wearing a tie-dye or colorful shirt on Friday, May 10th (National Children’s Health Mental Health Awareness Day) in hopes of replacing negative thoughts with beautiful colors and positive energy.
Share a group picture of your friends, school, or organization supporting National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day and tag Mifflin County Communities That Care on Facebook. Thank you for your support!
