The Mifflin County students did an amazing job!
What an honor it is to be a part of recognizing these talented and creative students!!
Mifflin County Communities That Care (CTC) collaborated with the Art, Media and English class students at Mifflin County High School for a positive message campaign. The students were provided data from the 2015 Pa Youth Survey (PAYS) to decide what risk factor they felt needed addressed in our community. Some of the risk factors they chose included suicide prevention, stop bullying, drug abuse, and teenage smoking to name a few.
CTC will promote the winning prevention messages with posters, radio and media advertisements throughout the community. Thank you to the 32 members of the voting public who took the time to visit the PA CareerLink (R) Mifflin County to support the project, our local youth, and cast their vote.
Here are some of the entries CTC received.
WINNERS will be announced in August!!
