This is a 5 week (2 hour session each week) workshop for parents with children in elementary school. This workshop is offered by the TIU each fall.

Learn how to support your child’s academic achievement, improve communication at home and reduce misbehavior.

A Kids Kamp is also offered for children to participate in fun-filled activities that promote the skills that parents are learning.

Program Outcomes:

During the 2006-2007 school year, 7 families participated in this workshop. Based on pre/post tests, evaluations, and staff assessment, all of the families indicated that they learned more about parenting, discipline, communication skills, and improving study skills as a result of this workshop.
